The text “Your content here” at the bottom of most pages

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

For some reason the text “Your content here” appears on the bottom of most of my pages. How can I remove it? I cannot remove it in Live Editor or any other way I can think of. It does not show up in the pagebuilder. Is it some kind of placeholder I can’t see?

    Hi Eric

    Thanks for reaching out.

Have you perhaps checked the documentation for your theme? It sounds like that might be theme related text. If you send a URL to the site we’d be happy to take a look.

    Hi Andrew,
    Thank you for replying.
You can see it here for example: https://vr-center.se/boka/

Thanks, Eric. It might be something implemented in your child theme. If you temporarily switch back to the parent theme, does the text remain?

Yes, thank you! It seems to work.

Glad to hear you’re making progress. If you have access to FTP or your Hosting File Manager you could download the child theme and search in the folder for the string “Your content here” to locate it. That’s one way to move forward.
