the siteorigin tinymce editor does not have font size or color bar

Hello – I have installed your page builder and it works great. I installed the Black Studio TinyMCE Widget 2.2.8 into my WP site: shopperscoupons.net. Even though the plugin was not tested for the WP version 442, it still works great and gives me a second bar in the editor to work with font size and color.I do not understand why the wp editor does not have these editing functions. It is the most basic need to build websites.

However I installed another WP site and used the same version and the same template, with the siteorigin builder also. When I installed the Black Tiny MCE 2.2.8 on these same exact circumstances, the editor will not show a second bar for font size and color etc…This new site is http://mydesignstore.net. I use the siteorigin widget from the bundle called the siteorigin editor.

It is impossible to build a half way decent site without the most simple and basic needs, like font size and color. I cannot believe WP has gone this far and still cannot provide a decent basic editor! Do you know why this is not working on my newer site? I am at a complete standstill to start adding content. What a pleasant surprise it was to have a basic problem failure on the very first attempt to add content.

Also, can you fix this plugin so it is compatible to WP 442 version? Or do you have any suggestions?

Thanks
Steven

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Steven,

Let me just I’m sorry for any frustrations any of this has caused you. We’re not responsible for the Black Studio TinyMCE Widget nor have any direct influence over its developments so we can’t fix any issues you’re having as a direct result of any incompatibilities you may have with the newest version of WordPress. I would highly recommend posting an a thread in the official support forums.

Have you tried using the expanded TinyMCE view? You can do this buy pressing the Toggle Toolbar icon, Capture, in your editor. It’s obviously not on the same level of what you’re after but it should be enough to tide you over until the developers of that plugin resolve the issue you’re experiencing..

Thanks for your response – that was all that was – the toolbar. I did not that but I finally figured it out.

Oh I wanted to tell you that the page builder is the most ingenious builder for WP that has ever been invented! It has saved me alot of headaches and work. I couldn't hardly build without it!

Do you know how to get into the WordPress -Site origin forum? It will not let me in after several attempts. The reset password system is fouled up and I cannot reset anything.

    Hi Steven,

I’m not too sure I follow. Are you referring to the WordPress.org forums, or the ones you just posted to? (I presume the former :S)
