the link you followed has expired

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

Greetings

I have been failing to add pages new pages for my menu and submenu, the only response I get when I try adding a new page is “the link you followed has expired”. How can I solve this?
Thank you.

    Hi Donald

    Thanks for reaching out.

The majority of posts on this issue such as https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-link-you-followed-has-expired-error-in-wordpress/ seem to focus on the issue occurring when uploading a theme, plugin.

If you’re working at AppearanceMenus then perhaps try CustomizeMenus and see if the issue persists. Put another way, there are two menu interfaces, try both and see if the issue persists.

Basic troubleshooting you can try is to temporarily deactivate all plugins, including ours and see if the issue persists.

If the above two options don’t help then it would be worth trying to increase the limits mentioned in the WP Beginner post linked above.
