    Hi Alex,

    I can confirm this issue as well.

    To replicate this issue, create a basic widget with a basic loop of posts and use the `get_the_excerpt` WP function to display the excerpt and you will see that “live editor” is not working (nothing gets displayed and it loads a long time).

    Let me know, if you need more details to replicate this issue.

      Thanks. I was recently able to replicate this with the help of another user. If possible, could you please make a comment on the GitHub issue with any other information you think you can add?

    Alex, i too had issues while using excerpt when i was using inked blog widget. later i had to disable the excerpt option to make things right. and one more, if i enabled excerpt pages that were not selected also used to come in the previews.
