Text editor and apply button on the fritz

Hey all,

First off, applying my changes in the customizer after i’m done causes everything in the builder to disappear. Kinda frustrating.
Second, i was having some trouble with the text editor. It seems i can’t add text and change it using either ” “Siteorigin editor” or “Visual editor” (Black Studio TinyMCE widget, a solution i found in a different post)
I can however use the plain text tab on the editor to insert html, but i want to change the formatting in the visual tab.
Does anybody recognise these problems and maybe found a solution to them?

    Hi Daniel,

    To clarify is this only happening with a single piece of text or is this a constant issue regardless of the contents?

    If it’s the former, could you please send me the contents? Also, would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this open up the page with the widget and click layout. Then click import / export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

    If it’s the latter, this sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    I tried disabling the plugins and clearing the cache. No effect i’m sorry to say.

    I dont believe its theme related since the guys from THemeisle highly recommend you guys.

    I’ll retry your options to see if i missed something. Tnx in advance.

    Hm, based on the video it looks like there’s a JavaScript issue or one of our (required) scripts isn’t able to load. Could you please send me the contents of your console? Please refer to this guide (https://www.wickedlysmart.com/hfjsconsole/) on how to access your browser console.

    Also, would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?
