Sometime between May 4 (the previous time I added a testimonial) and today the Testimonial widget layout is no longer working properly. You can see what I mean here: https://www.georgeglazer.com/wpmain/testimonials/
Here are the new problems that make the page look amateurish:
1. The boxes with text with beige backgrounds used to be the same width, aligned left and right. Now they vary both in width and position, and the box width scales to the text that’s inside it, which it did not used to do.
2. The text is entered into the text boxes exactly the same way each time. As you will see, most of them are formatted correctly in the sense that there should be a bold heading, a line space, and then the customer’s words beneath it. But for the latest one (James Cagney Memorabilia) and one I entered the time before last (Apothecary Box) the line space between the heading and the text will not appear no matter what I do.
Please help — we’re an art sales business and these kinds of things undercut the impression of competence we’re trying to project.
Hi George
Thanks for reaching out.
1. I’ve logged the issue here.
At AppearanceCustom CSS or Customize > Additional CSS you can try adding:
2. I’ve rolled back to previous versions and the behavior seems to be the same. If you add a line-break and then switch to the Text tab, the line-break is lost. Try going to the Visual tab within the testimonial in question, put the text onto one line, and then re-add the line-break and then save.
Thanks for the speedy response! Those things both worked.

Hi Helen, super, I’m glad to hear you’re making progress. After the next update to the Widgets Bundle, you should be able to remove the Custom CSS rule.
