Hello,

I have a problem with widgets Tabs which was working fine before.

Now, when I click the button “Add” to add a new item in a tab, nothing happens. The same when I want to open the Design menu.

The same happns with the Accordion widget (didn’t tried with others).

I first thought it was because of the last update (Version 1.11.8), but rolling back to the previous version doesn’t solve the problem.

What could be the problem ? Is t from SiteOrigin widgets or maybe because of another plugin ?

Regards

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jrm,

Unfortunately, we can’t replicate this issue so we’re not too sure why this is happening on your website.
Can you please try adding a new Accordion item and then please send me the contents of your console? Please refer to this guide on how to access your browser console.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your answer.

I tried to reproduced this issue on a local server but couldn’t. So I deactivate all plugins and reactivate them one by one and then proceed to updates one after one.

After that, the problem was fixed. I don’t know what happened …

Thank you for your great products !

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jrm,

That’s odd. I suspect it may be an issue related to caching so by disabling/reactivating your plugin it must have cleared them.

  4. 7 years, 3 months ago jrm

Well, the same thing again. This time nothing happened when I deactivate and reactivate all plugins. If I use another browser (chrome), everything works normal.

In Firefox, the console only says “the console has been deleted” without any explanations.

    In Chrome, this :

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jrm,

That’s odd. That message suggests this is a conflict with Yoast, but I just tried using Yoast alongside the tabs widget and I was able to without issue.

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look at your general setup?

ok, i created your account. Tell me if you have problem to log in.

Yes, there is a problem with Yoast. I built a page (“Tablatures”) with Siteorigine where I use the tabs widget. When I click on the menu link to this page, all dropdown menus disappear (others pages, Polylang languages switcher). Also, the social icons on the page stop to float if you scroll the page down.

But even if Yoast deactivated, the “add” buttons from widgets still don’t work in Firefox.
With Chrome, “add” buttons seem to always work but the page “Tabalatures” has the same problem.

More strange, I created a page “test siteorigin” and there is no display problem with dropdown menu or social icons. Also, the home page built with Siteorigin doesn’t seem to have any problem.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jrm,

Oddly, when I try and log in I get a 403 error and now I’m able to access any part of your website. Do you have any login or whitelisting plugins, or anything that could prevent me from being able to log in?

  10. 7 years, 3 months ago jrm

    Hello Alex,
yes, there was. You can log in now!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jrm,

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, I can’t seem to replicate this issue. Is there a specific page you’re having issues on that I can take a look at?

Please note that I created a test page to try your accordion widget.

  13. 7 years, 2 months ago jrm

    Hello Alex,

I have the same problem on the test page you created.

But I noticed this happens only with Firefox, it is ok with Chrome. Which web browser do you use?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jrm,

    Sorry for the delay.

I was previously using Chrome. I just tried the created page in FireFox and it didn’t work. I do however get a different error message.

    TypeError: n(...) is null[Learn More]mediaelement-and-player.min.js:12:140825ReferenceError: MediaElementPlayer is not defined[Learn More]mediaelement-migrate.min.js:1:342TypeError: b(...).not(...).filter(...).mediaelementplayer is not a function[Learn More]load-scripts.php:316:634TypeError: u.getComputedStyle(...) is null[Learn More]widgets.js:9:16406TypeError: window.tinymce is undefined[Learn More]

Can you please disable CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS? This will require editing wp-config.php. If you need help with doing that, I would reach out to your hosting provider..

    Hello Alex,

    I had this line

    define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false);

in wp-config.php but with no results.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jrm,

Thanks. That wasn’t actually meant to fix the issue (it was purely so I could get more information about your setup from a JavaScript standpoint), but it has actually fixed it for me. Can you please try editing the Accordion widget using the account you created me?

    Hello Alex,

I finally found the cause of the problem.

Few days before I had this issue, I installed a new addon in Firefox. It happened that it was corrupted and everytime I saved a post in WordPress a javascript was inserted at the bottom of the post.

Now, I have deleted this addon in firefox, no more javasript in posts and Pagr Builder works fine again !

Thank you for your help and patience !
