Tabs widget not working on published page

Hi,

(using Chrome)
I managed to add the widget and edit it with all my content however:
a) the formidable form isn’t showing up as a form just as the html link only in the form tab
b) when i preview the tabs in the widget preview it all works ok (apart from the form) but when I publish the page and view it, the tabs doesn’t switch between the relevant pages. The tab title highlights ok but the information is stuck on the first tab?

Can you suggest how I can fix the issue please. I’ve tried it in a different browser (firefox) but the same problem occurs.
Thanks
Kellie

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Kellie

    Thanks for reaching out.

    a. The Text field doesn’t render shortcodes. This is possible via the Accordion addon in SiteOrigin Premium.

    Page: Accordion

    Content type:
In addition to a regular content field, you’ll be able to select a Layout Builder field. This will allow you to build a complete Page Builder layout within the accordion panel.

You can then insert a SiteOrigin Editor widget which will render shortcodes.

The above is also applicable to the Tabs widget via the Tabs addon.

    b. A JavaScript error on the page is breaking the tabs widget. To find a working baseline, try temporarily deactivating all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin, does the issue resolve in that state?

HI Thanks for replying so quickly.

    1. I have purchased the premium plugin now and activated the tabs addon – but how do I insert a widget inside a widget? There isn’t an option to insert the editor widget inside one of the tabs is there?
    2. I’ve tried deactivating all plugins apart from site origin but they problems is still occurring. What can I do now to get rid of the JavaScript error please?

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi, thanks for your support. Please, reach out via email, [email protected], with any follow-up questions.

    1. When editing a tab, set the Content type to Layout Builder.

    2. There is a JavaScript error visible in the browser console. This error is most likely the cause of the Tabs issue. Try temporarily deactivating all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin and temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen. In that state, does the issue resolve?
