Hello,
may I ask is it possible to add the Name that a user adds to the contact form to be displayed in the subject of the email when I receive it? Just so that the subjects of the emails are not the same every time in such instances when filling out the Subject by the user is not available.
thank you
Hi Peter
Unfortunately, not at this time. I will pass on your request; I’m sure it’ll be very helpful.
Hi Andrew,
thank you, and may I ask, I was looking for this option but could not find it, is it possible to make the space between fields in the contact form shorter?
And is it possible to translate the error messages? I could not find them anywhere to adjust.
Hi Peter
The existing Margin setting in the Design section doesn’t take into account the existing margin. That setting will be migrated into a multi-measurement field in the next Widgets Bundle release to solve the problem.
The error message string is present in the plugin’s .pot file. How are you translating the string?
For the error message issue, please, try editing the field in question and clear the text in the provided error message field. The translated value should then take effect.
cool, thank you Andrew, do you by any chance know what the error messages “look” like? Just so I know what I am actually looking for you know, when searching for that text.
Sure. If you insert a new form, open a field such Your Name you can scroll down to find the default required message, in this case “Please enter your name”.
aaaah ok! Big thank you, I thought there are some hidden ones with actual “error” in the text message :), something like “error, message cannot be sent”
Super; glad to hear you’re making progress on the error translation issue. Thanks for your feedback.
