Struggling with [buttons] shortcode on Hero Image

Hi there, thanks for the great WP addons. Very cool.

The problem I’m having seems to have been brought up before, but I’m definitely still struggling with it with Version 10.1.4.4.

I’ve added buttons to two frames in a Hero Image. I’ve then added [buttons] to the content on each frame. I’ve published my changes, but it’s just showing the text [buttons] rather than the actual button.

Here it is in action:

Any thoughts? Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks much!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jordan,

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Hi Jordan,

Please note that unless you specifically mark a reply as private – it will be publicly available to be read. I’ve removed the password and changed the user account password.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jordan,

Okay, so the issue is a Theme Trust one. Theme Trust runs a fork (a version based on our code but not actively developed by us) of the SiteOrigin Widgets bundle so we’re unable to help you due to the version differences. We recommend contacting Theme Trust directly.

I wasn’t aware of this fact. I was only under the impression they were using a fork of SiteOrigin Page Builder.

Oh balderdash! Okay thanks much, I'll try to track them down. Or is your plugin trunk a suitable drop-in replacement?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jordan,

To be honest – I don’t know. I’m not too sure what changes they’ve done to the Widgets Bundle so I can’t make a yes or no statement due to lack of familiarity with it.

Sorry for not being more helpful. :(

Hey, you've been most helpful. I stand by my accolades — great plugin!

    Kind regards,

    Jordan.

I uninstalled their branched version and installed the proper base version, and all is great. Thanks much!
