Stripping HTML

9 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 9 years ago

Hi,

Why is the SiteOrigin plugin stripping my HTML code?? I’m pasting into the text editor of a SiteOrigin Editor widget a full block of code including and tags. And every time I paste this code, all my tags get stripped; whether I have the “Automatically add paragraphs” checkbox checked or not.

This is so frustrating right now… Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Jutta,

The paragraphs are being removed by WordPress itself. It doesn’t allow manual paragraphs unless it has a class set.

The div however shouldn’t be getting removed and I can’t seem to replicate that. Could you send me the exact markup you’re trying to use?
