    Hi Juan M De Marco

    I have just had a look and the blog site seems to be displaying correctly for me. Do you still require help or has the issue been resolved.

    Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    (Hi Juan. Thanks for the update. Magus will continue to assist you here. I just thought I’d mention that in order for Magus to diagnose the problem he will unfortunately need to see the site running the latest theme version. If at some point tomorrow (we’re at GMT+2, roughly) you can update your theme again, please update the thread. We’ll then be able to dive in further.)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Juan

    It looks like you have made some serious changes to the theme files, one of which is to replace the Vantage footer with your own. The reason the footer is not at full width is because you have placed your footer DIV inside if the Site-Main container which is restricted to a maximum width of 1080px. If you move under the Closing tag of Site-Main then it should stretch to full width but this will most likely cause layout issues with your custom footer which you could fix with some custom CSS.

    Once moved if you add this to Appearance->Custom CSS it should fix the layout issues caused by moving the div.

    [coded lang=css]
    .centrado {
    max-width: 1080px;
    }
    [/code]

    To prevents issues like this in future I would recommend using a child theme to make your changes rather than editing the theme files directly. Here is a default child theme for you to use.

    https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/vantage-child-vanilla-enqueue.zip

    Make copies of the files you made changes to into the child theme using the same directory structure as the main theme. This way when any theme updates are released you will not lose any of your alterations. When you switch over to the child theme you will lose any custom CSS, customizer settings and header/footer widget placements so please make sure and take a note of these settings before you switch.

    Let us know how you get on

    Im having same problem on 2 sites where the “full width stretch” now has no effect, sites updated automatically and so i only realised this today. I’m not using Vantage if that makes any difference. website details are here http://redgateinn.co.uk

    Its not just the footer its everywhere :-(
