Stretch Here Image

8 years ago · Last reply by nycbrook 8 years ago

Hi there,

I am trying to find a way for the hero image to cover the logo and navbar as well.

How can I stretch the hero image to accomplish this?

I would be grateful for any help.

Thank you.

    Hi Nycbrook,

How you do this really depends on what theme you’re using.
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at your setup?

You can however easily stretch your hero widget horizontally. Please open the row housing the hero widget and head over to the row styles sidebar. Open the Layout settings group and set the Row Layout to Full Width Stretched.

    Hi Alex,

It is good to hear from you.

I am using the Zerif Pro theme by Themeisle.

Yes, the horizontal part is not an issue. It is only the vertical sizing that I want to cover the menu and logo at the top of the page.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Nycbrook,

Thanks. I’m not aware of if this is possible with that theme through theme settings. I would recommend getting in contact with your theme developer to see if this is possible.

With that said, I could help you accomplish this with CSS, unfortunately, this is beyond the scope of the support we’re able to offer on our free forums. There is a fair amount of custom work involved.

We do offer this level of support to our premium users, so if you’d like to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then I can help you over email support.

If you’d prefer not to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then you can hire a WordPress developer from Codeable. They’ll charge you an hourly rate for any work done.

    OK.

I will take a look at the premium product.
