First and foremost, thanks so much for developing such an outstanding theme. I am now using the theme on 3 of my sites:

Punk-Fit.com
AllSacredFoundation.org
JonnyEdward.com

Overall the theme has worked flawlessly on all 3 sites, with one exception. I have the sticky menu turned on for all 3, and on desktops or laptops it works perfectly fine regardless of browser, OS, etc. However, when viewed from my mobile device (LG G3 running the latest version of Android – using Chrome), the menu does not stick on AllSacred or JonnyEdward. Punk-Fit works perfectly fine, but the other 2 do not. I played around with the theme settings and can’t seem to figure out what the issue is…

*Worth noting that I am running the same plug-ins on all of the sites, everything is updated, etc. So there’s no account for variance in my book*

Any help, input, or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your time and assistance!

Regards,
Jonathon

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jonathon

Thanks for your support and positive feedback.

This is something we have logged on our side, to address in the near future. In line with mobile best practices the sticky menu is disabled on mobile. What we’ll perhaps do in the future is introduce a setting to allow users to make this decision themselves. We unfortunately don’t currently have a hotfix.

    Sorry I don’t have more.

    Andrew,

Sorry for the delay in response, I’ve been out of town the past week. Thanks for taking the time to look into the issue. Makes sense.

My only question is this; why is it that the menu is sticky, and sticks, on mobile for one site – Punk-Fit.com? Just a glitch that worked out in my favor? Either way, IMHO, it would be a great option to have in the future as I really like the look. Then again, I’m not a pro designer and don’t know a lot about usability across platforms, browsers, operating systems, etc.

Lastly, just want to say thanks again for all of your help. Your assistance on another one of my sites – AllSacredFoundation.org – proved invaluable. The end result was a smash hit with the Foundation I work with!

    Thanks!

    Regards,

    Jonathon

    Hi, I Work Here

For sure. We definitely have this noted to introduce as a user selectable feature moving forward.

As to why one site is successfully showing the sticky menu on mobile and the others aren’t…tough one. Even though they are running the same plugins I’d start there if you wanted to dig deeper. De-activate all plugins and re-test. Try see if there is anything different in that setup.

Are they all running the same versions of everything?

Are they on the exact same hosting setup?

Really glad to hear your work has been well received. We appreciate the ongoing support.
