Split row appears vertically instead of horizontally

I created a row in which I inserted a layout builder widget. This layout builder widget contains 2 rows. One row contains a Site Origin Headline. The second row is split in 2 equal parts. The left side is an image slider and the right a list. Though it was fine earlier, the list now appears vertically under the picture instead of side by side.

How can I fix this problem and ensure that the positioning deas not fluctuate againin the future.
