How do you reduce paragraph spacing?
I have checked previous threads which advised to change the bottom margin – however the options here are only px, mm, cm etc, not size. Any ideas?

The paragraph spacing is controlled by your theme – unless you’re using the SiteOrigin Headline widget, in which case it’s controlled via widget settings. I’d like to help you with this, but unfortunately, this is beyond the scope of the support we’re able to offer on our free forums. There is a fair amount of custom work involved.
