Hi Support! Firstly, thank you for providing such a great tool! I have been trying for hours to figure how to adjust the spacing between various elements.
My site: mojocommunications.net. I am using the virtue theme.
Here are things that I have tried with 0 result:
/* Main Container */
#main {
padding-top: 35px;
padding-bottom: 35px
}
/* Main Container */
#main {
padding-top: 35px;
}
.home #main {
padding: 0px;
}
.home #main {
padding-top: 35px !important;
padding-bottom: 35px !important;
}
.home #main { padding-top: 0 !important; }
.row-spacing {
margin-top: -10px;
margin-bottom: -10px;
}
#main { padding-top: 0; }
I also tried suggestions from https://siteorigin.com/thread/too-much-white-space-between-rows-in-page-builder/ to no avail.
I added CSS tags to rows and widgets and nothing seems to work :(.
Please help!
Hello support! I am not sure if anyone has seen this post since it has been 4 days and no reply :(.
I was just testing another solution and that doesn’t seem to be working either. I added the following to the Row attribute:
custom-bottom-margin
Then I went to appearance > theme options > advanced settings
I then added the following code to the Custom CSS Box
.custom-bottom-margin {
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
Can someone please help? Thanks!
Hi Vyder
Thanks for reaching out. Here’s a little bit on how we prioritise support. Hope that clarifies the delay – https://siteorigin.com/about/forum-thread-prioritization/
To clean your Custom CSS up, please, remove all of the CSS rules you mentioned in your initial message above.
You can also remove the rule you mentioned in your second message.
Virtue, your theme, is adding 30px bottom margin to all widgets. To remove this styling from Page Builder widgets, go to Settings > Page Builder > Widgets and disable the “Add Widget Class” setting.
That’ll remove 30px bottom padding from each widget. The remaining margin of 10px can be controlled from Settings > Page Builder > Layout. Look for a setting that has 10 added as the value.
Hope that helps.
