Hello,
I need help with two different issues regarding the menu.
1) My website doesn’t have the header section (I didn’t like it). Is it possible to insert the social media widget in the menu area, beside the search button? If yes how do I do that?
2) I entered the site title and tag line under “customize” because I want them to appear on the tab of the browser. However this caused the title to appear in the menu area as well, which I do not want. How do I keep title and tag line on the browser tab area but make it disappear from the website page (menu area)?
I hope I was clear, I am new to WordPress and still find things a bit confusing.
Thank you.
Hi Beatrice
Thanks for running Vantage.
1. There is unfortunately no widget area available in the menu.
2. Insert the following under Appearance > Custom CSS to hide the logo:
Hope that helps.
Hello Andrew,
Thank you for your reply.
Just one quick question; if later on I decide to add a picture logo inside the menu should I then remove the custom CSS code?
In that case will just the image appear or the title will come back as well?
Thank you.
For sure. Yes, if you add a logo later, remove the Custom CSS for this.
Ok, thanks a lot.
