Dear Friends
Greetings!
I deactivated the Social Media Buttons button yet it is showing up on the website.
1. How do I remove it?
2. How to configure it?

Hi,
This problem sounds like it might be a caching issue. The first thing to check is server-side caching through plugins like W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, etc. If you have any of these caching/performance plugins installed, try clearing their cache and see if that helps.
It might also be browser cache. Try clearing your browser cache, and then refreshing the page to see if that helps.
You can read more about this sort of issue on the WordPress codex.
Dear Mr.Alex
I tried to clear the cache but no use.
Please take a look at http://www.bluecrossofindia.org and take a look at the button.
Awaiting your help. Thanks
Hi,
Are you referring to either of the following social icons?
If it’s the former, that’s being added by the Floating Social Share Bar (Lizard) plugin.
If it’s the latter, that’s being added by the Custom twitter widget pro plugin.
If it’s neither, I can’t seem to see it. Could you send me a screenshot?
Dear Mr.Alex
The small share button is okay. I can turn it off in Floating Social Share Plugin.
But the Twitter is a part of Site Origin Widget. It got turned on when I clicked Social Media Buttons (Customizable buttons which link to all your social media profiles. By SiteOrigin)
Now even after turning it off, the twitter button stays on.
Please help dear Mr.Alex
Dear Mr.Alex
You are right. It is Custom twitter widget pro… I deactivated the plugin and the button is gone… Thanks a million my dear Mr.Alex
