Social Icons in masthead

Hello, I’m using the Vantage theme, and trying to either make both the header AND the masthead menu sticky, or, preferably, add social icons to the right of the menu using the Logo in menu option. I have seen previous replies where a child theme has been created but nothing recently. If I end up using a child them, will any updates to the parent theme be available?

    Unfortunately, this is currently only possible through the previously mentioned child themes.

    If I end up using a child them, will any updates to the parent theme be available?

    You’ll continue to receive these updates but any theme updates will not be automatically carried over to any files replaced by the child theme. You’ll need to manually update those files with the changes to allow for them to carry over. For the most part, you won’t have to do this as we intentionally make very few large changes that would require you to update relavent files.
