I have experienced some issues while using SO Widgets Bundle with Layers theme
I randomly get “No posts found” when trying to edit a page… I disable some widgets and it works for a while (usually for a day) and stop working again… I have contacted Layers theme’s developers and they think that this is a possible bug. I have done some research in collaboration with them.
I recommend you to test SO Widgets Bundle with the Layers theme and fix the bugs.
P.S The support person of Layers theme said that they have tested Page Builder and Widgets Bundle… I recommend you to collaborate with them as I have already explained the situation in detail to them. (I recommend talking to “Vail” of the support team).
Hi TheDcoder,
Could you please provide more context to the issue you’re experiencing. On what pages does this occur? Only pages that our widgets are on them, or any?
Just to confirm, you’ve done a plugin conflict test correct? For reference:
Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If none of the above helps, let’s confirm if it’s a theme issue or not. please try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is indeed theme related.

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:
[email protected]
Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.
Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.
Hello Alex,
Yes, I have already done all the steps above. I found that SO Widget Bundle is the conflicting plug-in and indeed it a compatibility issue with the theme, All the other themes work fine.
…By the way this issue effects all the pages in my website. I am creating an account, Stay tuned for the email’s arrival ;)

Hi TheDcoder,
Would it be okay for me to backup your website so I test your website (settings and code edits) without it affecting it?
Yeah, no problem.
Hi TheDcoder,
Thanks. Outside of a plugin conflict test. Was there anything else that lead you (and Layers WP) to think our plugin was at fault? Just trying to rule things out.
No, nothing like that.
Hi TheDcoder,
So I’ve taken a look around your website and based on a couple of things I think this issue is actually on layers WP. The main issue is that each time your website isn’t working as expected it’s due to a fatal error caused by the theme. Further research (read: google) suggests this is a general issue people who develop widgets can face with that theme. There’s little we can do about resolving this issue due to the odd nature of the error (basically they don’t load something if something happens). With that said, you might be able to continue using the SiteOrigin Widgets bundle if you disable the SiteOrigin Page Builder plugin. The SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle is not reliant on SiteOrigin Page Builder to run.

Hmmm… So the the problem is in the theme? Ok, I will inform them then :)
I don’t want to disable either of them :( . I use both the page builder and the Widget Bundle…
Thanks, TD.
Hi TheDcoder,
Oh you do? Sorry – I didn’t see you use it anywhere so I presumed.
Yeah… I informed them (Layers’s Support Team). Apparently, they are not online now. they will be in a few hours.
