Hello guys,
The plugin SO Page Builder Animate was working great and I use it to implement effects in my home page. For some reason, it does not work anymore. Is it because the WordPress is now in 4.5.2 ?
The effects are still activated in the plugin, but have no effect when you arrive on the page. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
-Wefreedive
Hi Wefreedive,
We can only provide basic support for third party plugins. Your best bet for support is to post on the plugins support forum.
Regardless, I haven’t heard any reports of this being broken nor have I personally experinced issues. As such I suspect this may be a plugin (or theme) conflict. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins (don’t disable SO Page Builder Animate) and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Thanks for the quick answer.
The problem was indeed some plugins making it incompatible and messing up Page builder.
This is now fixed.
Another problem appeared though. I use in my menu anchors, and if you put this url from a blank page, the rows are affected (full width as well as pictures):
http://renaissance.wefreedive.com/wp/#courses
If you are on the home page and click on courses, the rows are not affected and the anchor works. But if we are on another page, let’s say http://renaissance.wefreedive.com/wp/beginner-course/, and that you click on “courses” in the menu, which will take you to the same url that linked above, you will see that the rows are affected.
Thanks in advance,
-Wefreedive
Hi Wefreedive,
Did you manage to fix this issue? I don’t seem to see the issue you’ve described. If you haven’t please try viewing the page in another browser as it’s possible it’s a browser issue you’re experiencing. Let me know if it is and I’ll provide further instructions.
Hey Alex,
No the problem is still here
http://renaissance.wefreedive.com/wp/#courses
This page, that I use Chrome or Firefox is doing the same thing. When there is the # (that it is course or specialties) make the row change from full width to regular.
No idea what it can be then.
Thanks for your help.

Hey,
Hard to explain on a forum: The issue is on the home page, not on the “beginner course”page. It becomes an issue if you are on the “beginner page” and that you click on “courses”, which will bring you back to the home page but with a # in the URL, and the rows are not full anymore.
In your GIF, we can see that next to the round icons, you can see a different colour of the background. This is not supposed to happen. The rows are suppose to be full and the same background colour than the circle icons.
On this page, the rows are full:
http://renaissance.wefreedive.com/wp/
On this page, opening this link in a new tab, makes the row not full anymore. It is still the same page, just with an anchor.
http://renaissance.wefreedive.com/wp/#courses
I think that I can even see it on your GIF that the rows are not full.
Hi Wefreedive,
I still don’t get what you mean by it not being full width. They all look the exact same to me. It should be noted I did not capture the entire screen – I omitted roughly 30% of it.
Okay so the grey flash is a general browser display issue. There’s no “hard fix” to this issue – only workarounds. The workaround typically being “set it up early rather than later”. If you know something will have a white background, set it to white by default. Does this make sense?
To explain the actual issue; Basically, on load, the plugin is changing the layout from what it originally was. This can typically cause a “flash” of undesired styling.
Hey Alex,
Don’t worry about it, I think I fixed it. Apparently there was a problem of plugins that do not work so well with Page Builder (responsive column and responsive image)
Thanks for your help!
