Can you tell me the optimal size for images in the home page slider?
Can I use Meta slider to create my homepage slider?
Can I choose what part of an image shows up in the homepage slider? ( my issue is its portraits and all the images are from the neck down of the subject)
Hi Kenny
The home page slider is 100% width so the optimal size really depends on the size of the display viewing the site.
You could try inserting MetaSlider into a static home page as a widget using Page Builder and insert a Post Loop widget below that to pull your posts. It wouldn’t be a 100% width slider though. Please check out our siteorigin.com/theme/vantage/ theme for easy MetaSlider integration.
The slider maintains aspect ratio which causes images to appear to zoom in as the slider gets wider. It’s not possible to change that area of zoom. If you’d like I can send through Custom CSS to make your slider fixed width, it would make it’s behaviour more predictable.
