I just tried the new Social Media Button widget and have this feedback. Can you make the logos on the buttons larger in comparison to the background button? They can be very hard to see unless you make the buttons larger (which isn’t ideal). The YouTube logo, for instance, is impossible to comprehend on my laptop at the regular size.
The Vantage Social Media widget had the same problem. I was hoping this new version would be better but, from my testing, it’s worse.
Does my complaint make sense and what are the chances of seeing this improved?
Thanks,
Steve
Hi GGMS
Thanks for your feedback. Within the widget settings, select Padding: Low and Icon Size: Medium or Large. Sort things out on my side. Give it a go.
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for the prompt response. I’ve tried your suggestions but still think there is much room for improvement. Low Padding should be even further reduced and the image quality of the logo (at least the YouTube logo, the only one I’ve tested) improved. Possibly a different YouTube logo altogether would be better, like the “play” arrow that is used on the YouTube android app. Just a thought…
Thanks again and please let me know if any further developments are made.
Steve
Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated. The logos are all from the Font Awesome library, perhaps in the future we can offer a choice. I’ve forwarded your comments to the team.
Thanks again.
Is there any way of adding a Goodreads option for Social Network/Icon?
