I came across Vantage due to Tyler Moore’s youtube video, as i’m sure many people have before. Once he downloaded the theme he immediately had the slider on the homepage. I’ve not been quite as lucky and cannot find a work around or how to do this.
I have deleted plugins, updated wordpress. I would really appreciate help here. I have managed to add the slider to an “about us” page but not the homepage. I also want to remove the page header so the slider/image sits directly below the menu bar with no “about us” text or padding. Please see below.

I have now managed to get the full width banner on the homepage by turning on the custom home page button, how do i now do this on every page removing the header. I want this to work like it does on the updated homepage.

Thanks for your support.
After installing Meta Slider and creating your first slider you can then assign it to the home page from Appearance > Theme Settings > Home. You can also assign a slider to each page by editing the page and selecting your slider from the right column Meta Slider drop down menu.
Setting the slider using the above steps will ensure it sits just below the menu bar as it does in the Vantage demo: demo.siteorigin.com/vantage/
