Slider Widget overlapping images/buttons

I have a slider widget that has 3 slides, each with image/title/button. Up until recently, the slider was working ok and all images would rotate on the home page. Now, the arrows are gone and all images are stacked on the home page, with all the text and buttons overlapping. I did not see any issues with plugin updates, no slider settings were changed. This is happening on PC/mobile, as well as all browsers.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Cj11mvg,

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

I deactivated the plugins, cleared cache, no changes. Arrows are still gone and all slides are stacked on top of each other.

    Hi Cj11mvg,

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Hi Cj11mvg,

Thanks. I see that you’re using the ThemeGrill Slider widget. We’ve received reports that a recent update has required you to re-save the page that widget to regenerate its CSS to allow for it to display correctly. If that doesn’t work, please reach out to ThemeGrill about this as they’ll be able to assist with resolving the issues their widget is experiencing.
