Hi, I’m working in Vantage free with Page Builder on the Meta Slider and cannot seem to be able to get the images right. It seems many others have had the same type of issues. I have tried many of the suggestion and still can’t seem to get it fixed.
No matter what size the image it stretches the image and cuts it off.
I turned the Stretch Home Slider Off/On
Setting and slider view are in this video
I tried what in this thread that sound just like what I’m experiencing and it did not work.
ttps://siteorigin.com/thread/vantage-theme-meta-slider-image-problems/
I tried adding this CSS and it did not work.
/*
Vantage Theme, remove max width/layer centering.
Usage: Copy and paste this code into Appearance > Custom CSS or your own Custom CSS module.
*/
body.responsive.layout-full #page-wrapper .metaslider .full-container,
.layout-full #page-wrapper .metaslider .full-container {
max-width: none;
}
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
Hi Jessica,
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

Hi Jessica,
Unfortunately, I can’t seem to replicate the cut-off. Can you please clarify what browser you’re using? Also, have you given this page a read?
Also, I would highly recommend contacting Meta Slider Premium support about this also.
Hi Alex, thanks for the quick response, my current setting match what’s in the article you provided. I’m using Chrome as my browser.
Jessica
Hi Jessica,
Oddly, I can’t replicate this issue in Chrome either. For reference, here’s a screenshot.
At this point, I would recommend contacting Meta Slider for advice. They should know where to go from here. Sorry mate. :(
Alex, thanks for all your assistance! The images don’t looks as bad because they are 5600+ wide and 4700+ tall, when I use a smaller image they look like crap. I didn’t want all the large images to slow the site down.
This is what the image should look like, you will now see how much is being cropped out.

Thanks Jessica
Hi Jessica,
Try setting the cropping to disabled. How does that look?
