Activating SO Widget Bundle plugin, I can’t edit any page on my website. Deactivating the Bundle Plugin everything is okay and works fine. What can I do to delete this problem?
Hi Alex,
What happens when you try and edit any pages – what do you see?
What happens if you have only SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle activate? If the issue doesn’t persist, please try enabling all other plugins one by one until the issue occurs again. When it does, try disabling all other plugins besides SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and the plugin that caused the issue. Does the issue occur still?
If not, I suspect the reason you’re not seeing anything is due to reaching the memory limit per page. Please follow the advice outlined in this Codex or this article regarding increasing the memory limit.
Hi and thanks for the quick response! When the Widget Bundle is activated and I try to edit a page, wordpress opens an empty page without any content. Yesterday all worked fine. Today suddenly the problem occures.
I’ll try your suggestions and will come back asap.
I tried to enable and disable all plugins. It seems that a backup-plugin caused the problem. I deleted to plugin, now everything seems to work perfect again. Thanks for your help!
Hi Alex,
Backup plugin? Hm. That doesn’t sound like it could conflict. Can you please enable all plugins but SiteOrigin Page Builder, SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, and the backup plugin? Does the issue still occur? If so, I suspect you’re reaching the memory limit. Please follow the advice outlined in this Codex or this article regarding increasing the memory limit.
I don’t know what was wrong. But it was not the memory limit. I followed the advices in your links. The problem still occured. Maybe it was not the Backup plugin, it was the Visual composer plugin. I checked it again today and I think, they do not work with each other, eventhough I worked only on one page with Visual Composer till now and only on one other page of the website with Site Origin plugins. So I made a complete new start with your site packs now, deleting all “old” plugins and I hope, it will work know. So thanks for your help!
Hi Alex,
That’s odd. The SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle is integrated with VC so they shouldn’t be conflicting.
Hopefully, this issue doesn’t occur again but it if does, let me know and we’ll pick back up.
