SiteOrigin’s Page Builder conflict with Widget Builder Plugin

10 years ago · Last reply by supreme 10 years ago

Just wondering if I can get some guidance about how to fix an issue with the Widget Builder plugin by Modern Tribe. I’m only using Page Builder on a few pages, none of which are live, but Widget Builder is used site wide.

Widget Builder is causing my content to be repeated several times in the sidebar.

    Hi Sean

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

Thanks for the wait. We’ve had a chance to look a little deeper. Widget Builder is using the_content function which Page Builder uses to output its content. This is, unfortunately, where the problem is occurring.

I’ll ask one of our developers if they can take a look. As far as I’m aware, there isn’t anything we can do from our side for this particular challenge.

    Hi Sean

Unfortunately, this kind of problem is quite difficult for us to fix. I’ve tagged this thread as a plugin conflict so we can come back at a later stage and try fix it. For now, there’s no quick fix. Sorry we don’t have better news.
