SiteOrigin Widgets Not Saving

8 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 8 years ago

Since updating WP & my plugins I’ve not been able to save SiteOrigin widgets on my WP site. Following the directions in another recent thread I turned off recently update or added plugins (the suggestion was for all, but I decided to start slow). I discovered saving ability returned when I deactivated this event calendar plugin [https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/] seems to bring saving back.

I really need to be able to use both apps (though I’m not super attached to the calendar yet).

Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Ammi Embry

Unfortunately, I can’t seem to replicate this issue. To clarify, are you unable to save all pages or is it a specific page you’re unable to save? Does this issue occur with the Events Calendar when only SiteOrigin Plugins are activated and Events Calendar? I ask as I suspect another plugin may be interfering.

Yes, it only happens when it Event Calendar & SiteOrigin are both activated.

I can save the pages, but changes to the widgets never save. When you reopen it gives you the option to restore the changes that didn't save last time.

    Hi Ammi,

That’s odd – I can’t replicate this issue. Are you using the pro version or the WordPress.org version? I see that there was just an update for the Events Calendar. Does this issue remain for you?
