SiteOrigin Widgets how to create this effect ?

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

Hello,

I am trying to duplicate an effect on my home page that I have seen on a Theme which appears to use SiteOrigin widgets and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction please.

I have tried a few option and variations using SiteOrigin Widgets but cannot seem to achieve the same result.

The theme in question is called Fusion on Themeforest and the effect is about half way down the page if you wanted to see it yourself. There are two rows, one has a phone on the left with four individual columns of text to the right of that, and the other has the phone on the right also with four individual columns or text to the left of that. Just mirror versions I guess.

Example

Both rows do the same thing being ;

There are images that slide within the phone body. As those image slide, the relevant column of text is highlighted in the group of four columns so the user can then read about that particular image.

From what I can see it is using SiteOrigin Widgets to achieve this but I simply cannot see a widget that comes close to that, or even what I can put together to achieve the same result.

Would appreciate any thoughts on this.

Thanks

    Hi Garth

Thanks for reaching out. Can you perhaps send a link to the page displayed in your screenshot?

    Hello Andrew,

Appreciate the swift reply, caught me off guard…

    https://www.livemeshthemes.com/fusion/

It is about half way down the page. There are actually a couple of similar types there, first is a girl looking at a phone and the second is the image I sent.

    Cheers

Thanks for the link. I think it’s a custom slider Livemesh has made as part of the theme in question. The slider is inserted via a shortcode http://support.livemeshthemes.com/forums/topic/iphone-slider-shortcode/. I don’t think the iPhone slider is available as part of https://wordpress.org/plugins/livemesh-siteorigin-widgets/. You could perhaps confirm with Livemesh via their contact form https://www.livemeshthemes.com/siteorigin-widgets/contact-us/.

Sure, no problem. Sorry, we don’t have a solution to offer. Hopefully, Livemesh can offer a suggestion.
