SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle update announcement error

9 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 9 years ago

Guys,

The SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle update announcement won’t go away. It follows me to every section of the wp area.

I’m using the theme Pinnacle from Kandece. It uses SiteOrigin’s page builder.

Could you please advise? Thanks!

Jaime

    Hi Jaime

Apologies for the hassle, that’s super annoying.

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Thanks so much!

On another note. The Site origin hero issue was resolved by deactivating Jetpack. Apparently it’s causing some errors with this specific set up: Pinnacle theme+siteOrigin widgets+Jetpack

Thanks again for the wait. I deactivated all plugins and tried to close the theme’s notice to install plugins, upon refresh the notice returns. This is looking like a core WordPress challenge, taking SiteOrigin out of the picture, it isn’t possible to dismiss the theme’s plugin install notice. There aren’t any JavaScript errors so we aren’t left with any clues as to the source of the issue. You could try reinstalling WordPress files to ensure none have been altered. Here is how:
