SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle slows down WordPress Backend

4 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 4 years ago

Hello everyone,

I have some Problems with SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle Plugin on my WordPress Page. When I activate the Plugin the Backend slows down pretty much.
I already tried to deactivate the all Plugins and only activate the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle Plugin. But it is still super slow.
Also I tried to delete Plugin and install it again.

What could be cause of this issue?

Best regards.

    Hi Jordan

    Thanks for reaching out.

Please, try extending the plugin conflict test. Does the issue persist if you temporarily deactivate all plugins except for the Widgets Bundle and also temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen?

    Hi Andrew,

I changed the theme and deactivated all plugins except for the Widgets Bundle. The issue still persists.
Is there something else which I can try?

    Thanks!

Thanks for the update. When the issue occurs, try checking for errors in the browser console, here is how https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis. If errors are present in red text, take a screenshot, upload it to Imgur.com or any cloud sharing site and send us the link.
