SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle – SiteOrigin Editor Widget Clears HTML

1 year ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 1 year ago

I’m experiencing an odd behavior that ONLY seems to affect HTML code relating to FontAwesome.

Example:

1. Add the following HTML to the SiteOrigin Editor widget TEXT tab (with or without add paragraphs on):

2. Save.

3. The HTML code disappears and the widget box is empty. However, the code displays properly on the live website.

Thoughts? Please let me know if you need more background information.

WP Version 6.7 / PHP 8.2 / All plugins up-to-date.

Thank you in advance!

Hummm. The HTML code on the above post was removed:

    <a href="https://www.facebook.com/" class="fa fa-facebook" title="Facebook" target="_blank" rel="noopener"></a><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/" class="fa fa-linkedin" title="LinkedIn" target="_blank" rel="noopener"></a>
