SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle – Font Awesome Issue

Ive seen alot of threads about this, but the solutions for others have not worked for me.

This happened after the latest update.

Look here

https://yousaveandmake.co.uk/cms/

Below the section with the heading ‘There is a better way!’

Of the three font awesome icons only the middle icon is showing.

The order from left to right of the font awesome icons is

‘Sterling Pound’ | ‘Light bulb’ | ‘One large cog, two small cogs’

These are the plugins that are activated

Page Builder by SiteOrigin (Version 2.10.0)
SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle (Version 1.14.1)

The theme is ‘Parallax One’ free version (https://themeisle.com/themes/parallax-one/)

WordPress version is 5.0.3

Am stuck on what else to do.

Hopefully someone can point out where I should be looking to resolve this.

Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Mongobongo,

Would it be possible for you to send me an export of the linked page? This will allow me to take a look over your widgets settings and hopefully work out why this is occurring. To export a page, please open up the linked page in the editor and click the Layout button in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as WeTransfer (no email is required).

Could you tell me to which email address I must forward the .json file to ?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Mongobongo,

Thanks. Oddly, the provided layout works without issue for me. Hm. Can you please open the SiteOrigin Features widget and then save the page. Does the issue remain?

    Hi Alex,

Thats very strange then, what version of PHP are you testing with ?

The website is running on version 7.0.33, ive tried switching between 5.6.40 and 7.1.26 with no change.

Not completely sure what you meant by

‘Can you please open the SiteOrigin Features widget’

    So I did the following

Plugins –> SiteOrigin Widgets –> Features –> Deactivate –> Activate

Then I opened the page and pressed the ‘update’ button

    The issue remained the same.

I hope this is what you meant me to do.

Something I should have done in the beginning and apologies as it did not cross my mind. But I just tried switching to the ‘Twenty Nineteen’ theme and the icons are appearing as expected.

Now I understand that the issue is NOT yours to troubleshoot so apologies for taking your valuable time.

The theme I am using is no longer supported so will probably have to change the theme.

Thanks for you assistance is IS appreciated.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Mongobongo,

Great to hear you managed to find the source of the issue.
Please be sure to post another thread if you have any other questions.

Not completely sure what you meant by ‘Can you please open the SiteOrigin Features widget’

By that I meant, please open your home page and then open the SiteOrigin Features widget.
