Hi,
I recently updated to WordPress 4.7, updated my theme Responsive Boat and Page Builder. But now since the update the widgets bundle is causing issues with the server. Once I did the tests (deactivate each and reactivate one by one) to see which plugins were the issue, it ended up being the widget bundle. So now that I have deactivated it. PageBuilder is working kind of. It’s having issues so now no widgets work just the basic wordpress one, since I don’t have another widgets plugin. So instead of using Siteorigin Editor I use wordpress text in Page Builder. No SiteOrigin ones would work, since the plugin is deactivated. But when I go to update and save the page I just designed, it will save wordpress image as a Siteorigin Editor and won’t let me edit or open again because I get the you need to download the site origin widets plugin message. So I’ll have to start over if I need to change anything.
Please help
Mary
Hi Mary,
I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing. :(
To clarify, what version of SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle are you using? You can find this out by navigating to WP AdminPluginsInstalled Plugins. For reference, the latest version as of writing is 1.7.2.
Have you tried temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related?
