SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle blew-out

Hello!

The most recent update of this plus-in removed it from my plug-ins list. Now the widgets that I have on one of my pages have ceased to function.

I can’t re-install the plug-in, it tells me “Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.”

I’ve tried to go in and delete the directory, but getting there is proving aggravating, the directory seems to be hidden. I’m not a full-time tech guy, this is really vexing.

Can anyone assist?

Thanks,
Matt

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Matt,

Unfortunately, this is a sign of a failed plugin update. To fix this issue you’ll need to reinstall the plugin and to do this you’ll need to FTP into your website. Please navigate to your WordPress directory, and then wp-content/plugins and delete so-widgets-bundle. Please open your website and navigate to WP AdminPluginsAdd New and search for and install SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.

If you need help with this, I recommend getting in contact with your hosting provider for assistance with doing this.
