Hi,
I’m sure you must be thinking, Yes, it should change your editor. But I’ve used SiteOrigin’s Page Builder and Widget Bundle on WordPress sites before, and the Widget Bundle is doing something I’ve never seen before.
When I try to edit an existing or new page, it opens up a page which looks like a Google Maps widget editor. It also opens up a SiteOrigin Editor (with nothing on it) when I click on Customize to change some things on my website.
I haven’t tried editing anything else. When I disable the Widget Bundle plugin, all goes back to normal.
I have the Write theme installed – do you think that the Widget Bundle might not be compatible with my theme?
Thanks in advance :)
Bonita
Hi Bonita
Sorry to hear about the hassle. If you’re still working on this problem, please, try running a plugin conflict test as outline below:
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
You can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
