SiteOrigin Visual Editor is not working

Hello, I recently started to update my website using SiteOrigin. However, I am experiencing an issue – in the Visual Editor mode when I am trying to change the content, the code keeps appearing. In other words, in the visual mode, the same content as the text mode keeps appearing which makes it very hard for me to edit the content on my page.

I have tried disabling the other plugins but the visual editor is still not working. Any help would be appreciated on this matter.

    Hi Taha

If possible, please, take a screenshot of the issue, upload it to imgur.com or any similar site and send us the link. We’ll take a look and advise further.

    Thanks

https://imgur.com/gallery/gm1GG4j – Screenshot of the page’s live editor. My aim is to edit the content and imagery on the page.

https://imgur.com/gallery/m4q7l4d – This is the text mode in the visual editor, wherein I am using a site origin widget to edit the page content.

https://imgur.com/gallery/Vj4EWGC – This is the visual mode in the visual editor. As you can see, editing the content is tough as the code is still there.

Please help me in this matter, any suggestions are welcome.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the screenshots, all looks normal with the Editor widget. Shortcodes won’t render in the Editor widget. This behavior isn’t exclusive to the SiteOrigin Editor widget, the same would be true in the classic WordPress editor. Shortcodes only render on the site front-end. This is a more a question for the creator of the shortcodes. Are the provided by your theme? If so, your theme documentation will most likely contain the necessary documentation to work with those shortcodes. Hopefully, that helps steer you in the right direction.
