Siteorigin, Vantage background pic issues

Siteorigin, Vantage >>Customizing Theme Design,>>Page,>>> page Background Image is out of focus and pictures are way to close

So I went back to Vantage. However I am missing a few things that worked great on other themes Ive used. First when customizing the pages as a whole in Theme Design, it doesn’t matter what image I use they all are completely out of focus. 150 x150px or pictures over 2000 px x 1500px, the results are the same. the picture looks like its mounted to close. On other themes if I used a picture of some very nice off white bricks as a whole site background image I could see them perfectly clear. The pic had 10 -12 bikes across and 12 to 14 high. then the picture would repeat and still look perfect. yet in Vantage they look so close and out of focus due to I can only cout 5 or 6 total across the whole screen any way to fix this.

also I miss the function of the background image remaining static when scrolling up. any ideas on how to fix these issues or am I swapping out themes again.
