SiteOrigin updates resulted in unpredictable blanket formatting loss

on June 8th 2017 applied these updates:

Page Builder by SiteOrigin
Version 2.5.5

SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle
Version 1.9.2

Today during routine content update on http://www.fbiassociate.club/news/, noticed massive preference loss on all pages widgets while updating only one top widget. All borders are gone. Preferences erased.
The navigation felt a bit unpredictable on the page editor. Pure html tags inside widgets were not preserved.
