In every browser but Internet Explorer, the image on the left side of the front page with the text “Se 140 historiske film fra lokalområdet…” (SiteOrigin Image Widget) is the same size as the images in the SiteOrigin Slides Widget next to it.
Yet in IE they are overlapping and not the same size. How can I fix this?
The side I need help with: https://naestvedarkiverne.dk/.
Hi Naestved,
I’ve inspected the images you’re having issues with and there’s something installed that’s scaling them. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi Alex,
Thanks for your reply. I’ve tried only having SiteOrigin widgets enabled, yet it didn’t fix the issue. I cleared the cache.
The theme owner stated here that the issue is not theme related.
My plugins are the following:
– Akismet Anti-Spam
– Force Regenerate Thumbnails
– Jetpack af WordPress.com
– Klassisk editor
– LiteSpeed Cache
– Loco Translate
– Page Builder af SiteOrigin
– PE Recent Posts
– Post Type Switcher
– Remove Widget Titles
– Search & Replace
– SiteOrigin Widgets Pakke
– WordPress Import
Hi Naestved,
Can you please try temporarily disablign LiteSpeed Cache to see if that helps? That plugin inclues a Lazy Load and this issue looks to be as a result of a Lazy Load so that plugin seems like the most likely plugin to conflict. If that doesn’t help, can you please try a plugin conflict test? A plugin conflict test will allow us to establish a baseline and rule out any conflicting plugin.
Hi Alex,
Disabling everything but the SiteOrigin plugins (including LiteSpeed Cache) didn’t seem to fix the problem.
Hi Naestved,
Would it be possible for you to send me an export of the page you linked? To export a page, please open up the linked page in the editor and click the Layout button in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as WeTransfer (no email is required).
I have uploaded the export file for you here: https://we.tl/t-xUHcVARfPi.
Hi Naestved,
Thanks. Unfortunately, I’m unable to replicate this issue with the provided layout – it’s still structured differently to what is on your website. Would it be possible for you to temporarily disable all plugins and then let me inspect the page?
I’d rather not as I’m afraid what it will do to the page. I’m going to try a different widget and see if it makes a difference.
I solved this issue by not using the SiteOrigin slider widget, but the MetaSlider plugin. Thanks for your support though!
Hi Naestved,
Great to hear you were able to find a solution that works for you.
