I assuming you not using a mega menu plug-in, how can I achieve this mega menu effect for my site?

We’re using a custom theme specific solution for this, but I would recommend using a mega menu to replicate this effect. I recommend Max Mega Menu (has free version) or UberMenu. Both plugins have the ability to create a multi-column row that will easily allow you to replicate this look. Please refer to the plugins respective documentation for instructions on how to do this.
