SiteOrigin Post Carousel – not able to Build Posts Query

Testing the SiteOrigin Post Carousel widget.

When I click: Build Posts Query -> Select posts, there is no posts showing, so I am unable to select posts, and the result is, that all posts are being shown.

Am I misunderstanding something here?

    Sorry, we need documentation for this widget. Please use the search box and start searching, type in the name of a category for example, you’ll be prompted with a drop down list and can start building your query from there.
