SiteOrigin Post Carousel – Mobile slide don’t work

Hello,

since we updated to a WordPress 5 the Post slider don’t work correctly. If you are using a mobile device you don’t have the arrows in the upper right edge and you can’t slide the posts with touch.
In the earlier version you could simply silde the posts with touchscreens.

Thank you!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Samuel

    Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Thanks

    Hey Andrew,
    Thank you for your prompt reply.

    The post-slider is located at https://bit.ly/2RinHHj

    Please try using a mobile device. I have already tried several versions.

    Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Super, thanks for the link. I’ve chatted with the team; because the carousel buttons are quite small, they’re being removed for mobile in favor of swiping. If you view https://demo.siteorigin.com/corp on your phone, you’ll be able to swipe the carousel a bit of a way down the page.

    It doesn’t seem like swiping is working on your site at the moment.

    To display the buttons, please try adding to CustomizeAdditional CSS:

    .sow-carousel-title a.sow-carousel-previous, .sow-carousel-title a.sow-carousel-next {
        display: block !important;
    }

    If you’d like to diagnose the swipe issue on mobile, you’d need to try temporarily deactivating all non-SiteOrigin plugins in one go and testing the carousel on mobile to see if there is any change in that behavior.

    Hey Andrew,

    I tried if the other plugins have an effect on the post carousel. There was no positive change when I deactivated all non-SiteOrigin plugins as you can see on the screenshot.

    plugins of website

    I inspected the source code and the CSS with the transitions work correctly. For some reason js don’t recognize the touch swipe.

    Thanks & regards
    Samuel

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Samuel, sorry I missed your reply. Please, try the test again but this time switch a default theme like Twenty Seventeen. All non-SiteOrigin plugins temporarily deactivated and a temporary switch to Twenty Seventeen. At that point, test the touch swipe action on mobile, any change? The test should only take a few minutes.

    Did you perhaps have a chance to apply the Custom CSS I sent previously?
