    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Miles,

Could you clarify the context of this error? I’m unfamiliar with that error code so it’s quite possible it’s not directly related to our plugin.

I’ve seen this happen several times with your plugin in relation to an image or a video. It happens intermittently….then next time it happens, I’ll post a video, if I can reproduce the error or figure out the conditions that create it.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Miles,

I would very much appreciate that – thanks. Let me know how it goes.

    Got it.

    Finally tracked it down!!!

I’m running memberpress (membership plugin) that allows for a user to see only a snippet of content,
say 1000 words. It sees the 1000 words, yipppeeee…however all formatting is lost!

The issue that I was reporting earlier is still related, of there being a javascript problem, but that’s not your problem that’s someone else’s so I’ll go deal with them directly.

However, formatting getting lost …. that’s purely you folks!

    Miles.

    Hi Miles,

To clarify, is that a shortcode you have to use to assign who can see what? What does it look like in the backend? Would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this open up the page with the widget and click layout. Then click import / export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

Also, for the sake of ruling things out; could you try a quick plugin conflict test?

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins (leave MemberPress enabled) and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue. Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

Alex, did all of what you suggested, no change. :-(

Yes it’s a short code that’s showing you the view above, like so.

    [mepr-active ifallowed=”show” rule=”2396″]content free users only [/mepr-active]
[mepr-active ifallowed=”2397″]content for gold and silver users only[/mepr-active]

In the interest of fainess I’m running pagebuilder and siteorgin css. They work nicely together, but at the moment they’re giving me no end of issues with regards to rendering the page and allowing an excerpt to be pulled with css formatting.

This video is from Memberpress Support:

Spencer is essentially saying that it’s page builder that’s getting in the way of pulling the contents of the page.

    Watch. Get back to me.

    Miles.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Miles,

Just watched the video. I wouldn’t say that Spencer is saying that I would say he’s saying that it might be the case.

To clarify, are you able to use other (non-memberpress) shortcodes in the same context?

    Hi Miles,

Also, as this is a premium plugin that we don’t have access to; would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and run a few tests?
