Siteorigin PageBuilder error when trying to edit

Hello everyone!

I’m exeperiencing the following problem when trying to edit a block on the page www.asdm.lu which was made with Siteorigin PageBuilder. I’ve installed the jQuery Migrate Helper and wanted to get some help about the following error:

2020-12-03 17:49:26 https://asdm.lu/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/js/siteorigin-panels.min.js: jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated https://asdm.lu/wp-admin/post.php?post=2223&action=edit

Thanks in advance for helping me out!
Filipe

    Hi Filipe

Sure, no problem. I think I’ve located the deprecated function in Page Builder. Is jQuery Migrate Helper resolving the issue for you for the moment?

    Hi Andrew!

Thanks for looking into the issue!

No, at the moment I can’t edit one specific row with multiple call-to-action buttons. Are you rolling out a fix for this deprecated load function? The solution to the problem has been presented here, but I don’t feel comfortable enough to try and edit the javascript code on my own: https://beamtic.com/fn-load-is-deprecated-wordpress

    Kind regards,

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Filipe

The fix is included in a big pull request we’re still testing, we have to have it out to everyone for the WordPress 5.6 release.
    https://github.com/siteorigin/siteorigin-panels/pull/827

Please, can you take a screenshot of the page with the browser console open so we can see the error happening and send us the link?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Filipe

I don’t see any console errors present in the above screenshot. I have two ideas, let’s start with the quick test. If you temporarily deactivate all plugins except for Page Builder by SiteOrigin and jQuery Migrate Helper, does the issue persist?

    Hi Andrew!

I’ve just disabled every extension, except for Page Builder by SiteOrigin and jQuery Migrate Helper and the problem persists: http://filipelima.bplaced.net/videos/2020_12_06_11_40_53_Modifier_la_page_Le_soleil_dans_la_main_WordPress.png

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for confirming. Please reach out to your hosting company. Let them know you’ve been experiencing 404 errors when editing widgets in your WordPress site and you believe ModSecurity could be the cause. Your hosting company will then be able to review their ModSecurity logs and hopefully, adjust their rules to account for the false positives. Please, include the above screenshot, just the last one you sent when contacting your hosts.
