Siteorigin Page Builder Update failed

Hi
I updated the Page Builder and now receive the message below.
Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /var/www/vhosts/unionprep.co.za/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/inc/styles.php on line 67
I tried WP rollback but it still gives the same error message. Do you know what causes this error?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    PHP 5.6.20 is the minimum supported version of PHP. If you upgrade the PHP version on your server the issue will be resolved. You can often change the PHP version via your hosting control panel, alternatively, you can contact your hosts for a hand.
