SiteOrigin Page Builder Slider Container

Hi we installed both SiteOrigin and Huge IT Slider on our site (www.manufacturingbc.org) and are having problems with the banner image width. We are using the Slider widget in Page Builder to structure the page.

Irrespective of slider size and image size (currently set at 1000×300) any images upload are sized down to a width of 763. Accordingly to Huge IT this is because of the container. So banners in a Natural state are too small (1000 becomes 763). Banners in a Resize state are fuzzy because they are being stretched (well shrunken from 1000 to 763 and then stretched back to 1000).

I’ve edited the CSS for the container and every time I press Save it defaults back to the 763 width.

How can I changed the dimensions of the container to get an almost full page width image??

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Pogostickcowboy,

Very sorry for the late reply. We work through a prioritized forum queue, and unfortunately, it’s taken us some time to get to your thread. I’ve taken a look at your website and the slider seems to be displaying correctly, and because it’s been a while since you posted this it’s quite likely you’ve resolved the issue. Is this issue still present? If so, we’ll jump right in.

No, not fixed. It still downsizes image and then scales up which distorts resolution

    Hi Pogostickcowboy,

Ah, sorry I was too focused on the width of the container rather than the actual image itself. Could you try temporarily disabling Jetpack Photon to see if that helps?

    Hi Alex,
I think that worked. I’ll try some different images to see what happens.
Thanks for the help and support on this! Always appreciate the insights.
