Hi everyone.
Since last week I’ve been having serious issues with SiteOrigin page builder. What happened is that I have 90% of my website finished and when I want to add new content, the page builder puts all the content into a single content box and messes the whole layout up. I’ve reinstalled the page builder and all the widget bundles but the problem remains. The only thing that has changed is that now after adding new content, and updating the page, I get kicked out of the page builder to the text content editor. If I click on the page builder button, it prompts me with the question “Would you like to transfer the content to the page builder”. If I select yes, it transfers only the first content box and the rest disappear, and if I select no I lose all previous content. I can’t find the solution to the problem, has anyone else experienced similar issues?

Hi Damir
Sorry to hear about this. Have you made any progress since posting? If not, is there any new information you can share on steps taken? Thanks.
Hi Andrew
Since then we realized that one of the WooCommerce plugins is having compatibility issues with the page builder. After uninstalling all the plugins we got the page builder working normally. Have you got any ideas which of the plugins might be incompatible with SiteOrigin page builder? The plugins we are using are:
Currency Converter Widget
1. Aelia Currency Switcher for WooCommerce
2. Enhanced E-commerce for Woocommerce store – depends on the price
3. WooCommerce Advanced Notifications
4. WooCommerce Affiliate Tracking
5. WooCommerce Coupon Shortcodes
6. WooCommerce Currency Switcher – Print Invoices & Packing List Integration
7. WooCommerce Customer History
8. WooCommerce MailChimp
9. WooCommerce Multilingual
10. WooCommerce Order Status Manager
11. WooCommerce Print Invoice/Packing list
12. WooCommerce SagePayCw
13. WooCommerce Shipment Tracking
14. WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping
15. WooCommerce Twist360 Reporting
16. WooThemes Helper
Glad to hear you’ve made some progress in finding the problem. We don’t have anything on the list that is a known issue. I know it’s time consuming but have you tried activating the above plugins one at a time and checking the problem after each activation? Apologies for the hassle.
Yeah, that’s our next step as soon as we finish the layout and the content we will activate the plugins one by one and test them. When I figure out which plugin is causing the page builder to malfunction I’ll post it here.
Super, let us know how it goes. Thanks.
Here’s a new update on the issue. After thorough testing, I found out that there are compatibility issues between Page Builder and WooCommerce Multilingual plugin. When Multilingual is active, if I make any changes on the website the Page Builder malfunctions and reverts to the text editor. Has anyone had the same issue, are there any fixes?
Hello,
I have the same issue. Like you wrote:
“I want to add new content, the page builder puts all the content into a single content box and messes the whole layout up. :(
Hello again,
like it is visible on picture, on link below, there are no more options VISUAL/TEXT/PAGE BUILDER and if I choose REVERT TO EDITOR
the page builder puts all the content into one row.

Hi Marijana
Please, open a new thread: Page: New Thread. Once open, if you post the link here I’ll be happy to give it priority. Thanks :)
I have the same problem!
I have the same problem!
I can make a post or a page with the Page Builder but when I save or publish it, all the boxes disappear and it goes to the text-editing mode. If I click to go back to Page Builder, all the content goes in to one Page Builder box.
I have tried to disable all the plugins and update the WordPress as well as the theme it self but nothing helps.
What can I do?
Thank you for your help!
When I save a page it automatically reverts to editor. Just realized it.
Found the problem. The plugin Facebook Thumb Fixer was conflicting.
Hi Duanne
Glad to hear you found the conflicting plugin.
All the best.
I still haven’t found the problem. For the people who are more experienced, this happened right after I changed my theme. First I had the free Oria-theme and now a theme called PinThis. Both are Page Builder supported but yesterday when I changed the theme to PinThis, I noticed that the Page Builder doesn’t work properly anymore. I’m not sure if this is the reason because I used the Page Builder last time over a week ago until yesterday when I noticed this problem.
Hi Olli
Please, open a new thread: Page: New Thread. If you post the link here once open I’ll jump it up the queue. Thanks :)
Hi Damir
Thanks for posting your feedback. I remember working with https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-poly-integration/ in the past but haven’t taken a look at WooCommerce Multilingual before. I’ll set things up locally now and take a look. Chat shortly.
Damir, before I dive into testing here, is this the plugin you’re referring to?
https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/
Yes, Andrew that’s the one.
Ok cool, I’ll dive in shortly and report back.
Just a quick heads up, Page Builder doesn’t work at the moment with WPML string translation (I think that’s the right term, maybe not). Page Builder only works with the duplicate linked page method that WPML offers. Hopefully, that makes sense.
I don’t seem to be having the same issue with this plugin combo installed. Can we login and take a look?
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:
[email protected]
Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.
Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.
Hi Anndrew
That’s very strange, can we make you an account tomorrow when we finish putting in all the content and fixing the layout? We’re on a tight deadline so we need to finish this today. Tomorrow we can give you access so you can test everything. We can also demonstrate the problem for you.
Sounds like a plan.
i have had a similar probelem though not related to woo commerce, it sorted itself out after a few hours but i have had it 2/3 times since.
